There They Are And There They'll Stay: Inside Out

I took another shortcut today when it comes to this movie.

I didn't watch it.

Not because I didn't want to, but because I have been crazy busy and we literally just covered this movie this last year. Since not that long of a time as passed, I decided to save some of my sanity, and go ahead and skip the movie.

So, quick recap of the movie. Riley moves away and get a whole much of emotion about it that she doesn't let out. Joy is trying to keep Sadness from being in control at all. Nothing goes to plan.

So, My thought on the movie can be reviewed in the last synopsis I wrote last year. I love the movie but I really do need to talk about how I think this works in faith.

It think that this works because no where in the Bible does it say that we have to hide any of our emotions. Yet, there are seasons for things such as happiness and sadness but we are never told to not feel anything. I like not having to hide my emotions from God because He made them. He know what it's like to feel all of the things that we feel.

In Jesus Loves Movies the versed that is used is Proverbs 14:13

"Laughter can conceal a heavy heart, but when the laughter ends, the grief remains."

It says the same thing to, we are not asked to hide our emotions. We are can feel a multitude of emotions at the same time. We are never asked to hide them.
