Let me tell you I have been stressing about these last few days! I love Christmas and New Year's Eve, but it always makes everything a little crazy! However, we have finally made it to the end of the year and the end of my plot twist! What a crazy ride it has been! I have done lots of thing that I would have not thought I would have done, that includes not only the plot twist but lots of other happenings behind the scenes!
Let's talk about my favorite plot twist movie The Prestige.
I am going to give you the very short version because I don't want to spoil this movie on accident. Here is what you need to know. In the hopes of making it to the big time, two magicians do everything in their power to be the best there is. However, their paths keep crossing in interesting, and sometimes dire, ways.
Now I love this movie, it's one of those that makes you keep thinking about it once you have seen it. I know that after the first time I watched this movie my mind kept going back to it, even after a year.
Now, let's talk about the last two plot twist that I got from Nora and Angela! They both came over when Ang was visiting and let's say they never stop amazing me.
Ang was first and she sure did stick to her healthy theme!
Nora, came in right behind her with one I was not expecting! However, I didn't get much on film because I am a crazy person!
I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped me to do this. I really did have a wonderful year and I know that you all loved helping to make my life a little crazy! I am really excited to see what the next year holds!
Finally the last post of the day! I hope that means that I can focus on the other things I have to do and write that stuff quickly! We will see how this goes.
Let's just jump in with the month's movie, Red Notice.
When a CIA agents gets into a lot of trouble for an op going totally out of hand, he must reach out to the second most notorious Art thief in order to catch the most notorious. However, these type of things never go as they are planned. Once you think you know what she is going to do you find that you are three steps behind.
I get it I know this is new and this is a little bit of a cheat. However, I watched it when it came out and saw what it was and replaced it on this list with the one I was supposed to watch. This movie was hilarious, and just a great joy to watch. Ryan Reynolds is just everything and then you throw in The Rock and Gal Gadot it's just a fun ride. I won't say anymore just go and watch it yourself.
So, this was a weird month because it's was supposed to be only Luke doing the Plot Twist this month. However, mom still had her one that she needed to make up for. So, here we go, let's get started.
Luke started off very early on this month and made me get up very early on a weekend.
Then while we were watching the new Psych 3 movie he gave me the longest of his three.
As you can see he had a good time in front the camera. The third one was fun but I didn't get any video of me doing it, so here is a video of me explaining it.
I think I liked the Sunset one the best. It's been a while since I have had the chance to do that so I really enjoyed it.
Now mom's was not that crazy either.
Over all November was a very chill month for plot twist. Which I am honestly very happy about because it's starting to get very busy here. So, with that I just have two more plot twist left for the whole year and then I will be done.
Hello! So, October's plot twists were very sweet and simple... and one that contained a plot twist with in a plot twist. I am making it sound more interesting than it is. You'll see what I mean in a second.
This month's move was Arrival.
Ok, look... I didn't like this movie. I didn't pay much attention... Here is what I remember. Aliens come from space needing help. Dr. Amy Adams is good with languages tried to figured out what they are saying. She is sad because her Daughter died. She saved the world, and then come to find her daughter didn't die the aliens made he see the future and it hasn't happened yet.
To be honest I have not idea why everyone loved this movie so much. I was bland, and boring, and I really wished I picked a different movie. However, what's done is done and let move one to the fun part.
We got literally all the way to the end of the month to go my plot twists from my Mom and from Beth. Beth got to hers first.
I will be eating ice cream from here again. Not sure when but it will be soon because it really was super good. Mom's was the plot twist in the plot twist.
I am really shocked that it's only happened once this year! I thought it would have happened more often with everything that is going on. However, she did have stuff happen that gave her a pass. So will will see what November has for me!
You know what usually happens this time of year is that August is busy, September is a little bit more chill, but then in October to the end of the year is fun chaos. Well. not this September. I was busy doing something or going somewhere from the very start of the month to the very end.... and I mean the very end....
The reason as to why my month was so insane was because of the Plot Twists presented to me by Nora. Nora is currently the award winner for the most time consuming plot twists for the whole year! I will be diving into that once we discuss this month's plot twist movie Once Upon A Time... in Hollywood.
Plot Twist.... this ended not being a plot twist movie.
1969 Hollywood was starting to undergo a lot of changes. What once it was best known for was not selling as well, and the moments of yesteryear were going dark as the "new and now" started to rise over the horizon. Some tried very hard to hold on to their prime. and kept pushing forward to stay ahead of the rising sun. Staying current is harder than getting started it seems. That is what Rick Dalton is trying to do. He is trying to stay in the mainstream but without being type casted into what typically happens to old "past their prime" movie stars. He is also trying to do so with his stunt double, and best friend, Cliff Booth. We follow their story has they try to hustle the movies while, also trying to get to know Rick's neighbor, Sharon Tate.
Now this is why I don't think that this movie is a plot twist movie...
In order for there to be a plot twist you know to think you know what is "supposed to happen". A plot twist would be a movie a movie booked as a romantic comedy, and starred Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson, right. You're watching and everything is going great. They are flirting, fighting, falling in love. It's funny, it's light hearted this in the last minute of the movie they are eaten by a shark and "surprise" they are the first victims of the shark in the movie Jaws. You are not supposed to see it coming. Something changes what you think you know.
The reason Once is not a plot twist story to me was because I had never heard of the murder of Sharon Tate. I have never even heard of her. I have heard about Charles Manson but I had no clue about this murder or the people involved until this movie. Meaning that this movie was a attempted murder gone wrong by not going after the original targets. They went into Dalton's house and were met with Dalton and Cliff and died.
You know when you light a match and when the flame goes out, because you don't allow it to burn the whole stick? You know that long drag of smoke that seems to go one forever, even though you would think that the wood would have lost it's heat? The smoke is silk like as it goes through the air and dances a little when it catches a draft. How pretty it is just staring at it? That is what this whole movie felt like to me. It's so pretty and mesmerizing to look at, but once the smoke cleared there was nothing there to keep you warm, or a light to help you to see. The whole movie I was wondering the heck Sharon Tate was and why we were spending so much time on her and her life but not doing much with her. She took us to a movie, a party, and book shopping and that was really about it. I had to do the research after the movie in order to understand why it was a plot twist and not just Quintin Tarantino wanted to play with guns at the end of the movie.
I guess you can say the plot twist was that it's wasn't really a plot twist for me.
Now, what was a plot twist to me was all of the stuff that Nora made me do this past month. She did start us off really early with her first one.
It took me forever to read that book. I am not sure if she was waiting until I was done with the book to give me the next one. I finally got the second one on the last full weekend of the month.
I was put through a panic on the last one because of the timing of it. I explain the third video why it was so hecktic.
The best part about that last one was I told the group chat with Nora and Angela that I added them and Ang went to watch it. She laughed and thought it was hilarious that Nora made me wait so long to get the puzzle done. Come to find out Nora thought that I would just do the puzzle, no matte how long it took, and just keep going. She didn't realize I had to finish it in that whole month's time! Ang got a huge kick out of that one.
Hard to believe that we are in the last few months of 2021. I only have one more person who has a whole month to themselves. I know that they have been waiting a while to get to theirs and we will see what they come up with. However, we both have to get through this month before that happens!
This is the time of year that things start to become very busy. I had several birthday to celebrate this month, and lots of other stuff happening around me. Jeannie was in charge of the twists this month and when I tell you that they came down to the last minute... they really did.
Let's start with this month's movie however, Atonement.
In the year's leading up to World War II, two lovers find that they are caught in a terrible crime of misinformation and misidentification. Cecelia and Robbie find that they have feels for each other and start to show each other in little ways. How one day can change both of their fates. Cecelia's little sister misreads a situation about Robbie in Cecelia, which makes her believe that Robbie is a sex addict. She find them later in the library in a compromising situation. A few hours later, during a search for her missing cousins, another cousin is sexually assaulted and the culprit is misidentified as Robbie. Robbie is tried as guilty but later has a chance to lessen his sentence if he fights as a soldier during the war. He takes his chances to be with Cecelia again and goes. Cecelia is a nurse in a hospital in London, not longer talking to her family after they thought that Robbie would do such a thing. Cecelia shows up to be a nurse as well trying to reconnect with her sister and tell her that she realized the mistake that she had made. The question is can she get to them in time before all hope is lost?
I will say that there is a plot twist t the end that I didn't see coming, but it's not like most movies that have plot twists in them. It really is worth the watch as shocking as it is for me to say it.
So, Jeannie cut it really close to the end of the month her with her twists. I got them all within three days, with the third day getting two of them. The first one happened during small group and there was lots of participation.
One Saturday, during my niece's 1st birthday party no less, Jeannie made me to plot twist number two.
Just wen I thought that I was out of the clear for the day, Beth tricked me! She told me that she wanted to go to the Mall and go to Yankee Candle and get some stuff. Se doesn't live close to one. Looking back now, we left the party really quickly. Usually we stay and talk after but she wanted to leave quickly... I know why now. After being lured in by candles she wanted to go to Chick-fil-A and get some food. Surprise... look who was there waiting in the food court..
I will say that Jeannie had some good ones. Jeannie was also the only one, so far, to make me do a plot twist publicly. She did surprise me, and I did have some fun.
I will say that I am sad that August is over, and I'm excited to see what Nora has planned for me next.
Hello and welcome to what might be the last month you hear from me! The reason being is the person doing next month plot twist has been sharpening and refining her skills, and has been WAY too excited about her month. Thankfully my last month here on Earth my dear friend Beth was the one who gave me the plot twist this week! As always though we have to talk about the movie for this month.... Shutter Island.
When a patient goes missing off of a island for the extreme mentally ill, Teddy and his new partner are off to go and find where they could have possibly gone. They also, find a new mystery while they are there. There are clues to a patient that does exists, find the one that is missing and these very odd headaches that Teddy is dealing with. Everything comes to a head when Teddy starts to question who he is and why is he ever there.
Truthfully, I need to watch the movie again. I was really scared the is was a scary movie so I didn't pay that much attention to it. However, It's not scary, but it's a thriller. Also, I can't give you more that what I wrote because of the fact that I will give away the whole movie. I will say that, while I didn't stick with it all the way through, I did get enough to know and be shocked by the end. I would have never guessed that what was going to happen. It's brilliant and you really should just see for yourself!
Now for possibly the last plot twist that I will write about before I die of embarrassment this month! Here is Beth's Plot Twist for me.
The first one I had to be like a child at heart to get this one right.
Plot Twist two was probably the easier (and best tasting) plot twist I had to do so far this year.
Now, this last one was hard! I have not patients for (personal) artistic ability, and I also don't have any artistic ability. So, having to do this was difficult.

Welcome back that craziness that is my life here in the year of our Lord 2021. I have made it though six months thus far of note having total control over my life. This month the lovely Alaina was the person who got to control some aspects of my life. However, before we get into what is happening with her lets talk about the brilliant plot twist movie for this month, Knives Out.
This story really does having you guessing till the very end. We start with the police investigating a suicide of the home of a famous author. He just celebrated is 85 birthday that night and the next morning was found dead. During the investigation the local police know that it's a suicide, however, one detective that was anonymously hired to look further. He has no clue who hired him but upon looking into the case he knows something is not right. This get more confusing and out of control we we learn who murderer is at the start of the movie, who gets all of the inheritance, and an end that you can't even begin to see coming!
Ok, I didn't watch this movie when it first came out because I thought it was a scary movie. However, My mom did watch it and told me how good it was and that I should watch it. I have watched it twice since the first view it's that good! I can't really say more on it because I will give something away! However, GO WATCH THIS MOVIE!
Now, to Alaina and her Plot Twist for the month!
So, Alaina's Plot Twists were fun! They were off beat for me, but nothing too embarrassing! Here is the first one!
I had a lot of fun doing that one. I really do have it on my bucket list to successfully fly a kite and I had no idea how I was going to pull it off but I am glad I found this way and was able to do it and Alaina approve.
The second one was way more involved.
I gave one loaf to Alaina and I am currently finishing off the second loaf as I am typing this. I was really mad that the one video didn't work but it's all I could do.
The finally is one I am still working on getting all of the pictures up! However, you see the sneak peek here.
I still found it awkward to do because I am not one to do model type stuff for that. I really would have rather not done this but it didn't last too long and it's was still fund to hang out with Alaina.
So, I hope you enjoyed what this month was like. We are 5 days into the July and still Plot Twist Free for the moment, I don't think it's gonna last long.
May has been crazy busy and totally full of surprises. I have to say that I have enjoyed most of it. I keep finding myself getting thrown more plot twists in month than I had planned for. Also, more plot twists for the rest of the year than I have planned for. However, it's all gonna be great and we will be heading into June were I am sure my Plot Twist are going to be crazier.
Let's talk about The Sixth Sense first.
After coming home from an awards ceremony for his wonderful work in child phycology, Malcom Crowe is faced with a live for death situation. He was shot in his home with he wife there. The fallowing fall we see that he has recovered and is trying to help out a little boy by the name of Cole Sear. Cole's mother is worried about him saying that he has been self harming and is not getting along with the other kids in his class. Malcom starts to work with him and finds that Cole believes that he is talking with people who have died. However, they don't know that that have died and and trying to find someone to cope with the last thing they need to do before they go into the after life. Malcom tells Cole that instead of being afraid of them that maybe he should trying to help them and talk with them. Cole starts to help the people that he is seeing and it starts to lead to Cole getting along with classmates and making real friends. However, talking with the dead starts to uncover some unexpected mysteries.
I have never actually seen this movie before. I have heard of it, and of course I know that famous line from the movie, but I always thought that is was going to be more horror movie that suspend. As someone who hates scary movies find out that it's a suspense movie gave me more hope about seeing it. It's actually a really well done, and enjoyable film. It does have a nice plot twist there but it's not sit on the edge of your seat and wait to be scared like I think it was going to be. I will probably see this again and I will definitely recommend it.
Now, let's talk about my plot twist.
This is one of those off months were two people got an extra day. When I drew the names at the end of last year to make the list is was all so fitting that the Married Luke and Alaina would share a month. Luke got his plot twist in first. He actually scared me really cause he called me to give me mine. The man never calls me. Really even when he texts me it's funny videos or memes. We don't actually talk unless we are in person... then it's hard to shut us up. Anyway, he scared me by calling and then tells me that it's plot twist time.
In addition to having to watch the movie I actually have to write a review on the movie. So, Luke, if you ever read this, here is the following review.
Seven Samurai is the story of the survival of a small village. Bandits have been raiding this part of the country for a while. The village where our story takes place is was raided fairly recently and the village is struggling to rebuild and survive. The bandits come by the village again to start to plan of over taking them, but they decide to wait until the next harvest in order to get the most out of the raid. One of the villagers was nearby when this was being talking about and he reports the news to the chief of the village. The village all thinks that they are dead and they are going to be better off if they walk away. However, the chief tells a tale of when he was young. That where he lived there were several nearby villages that were being attacked. One village hired a Samurai to help them. All of the villages feel, except the one that the samurai was protected. With a few weeks before the harvest, the chief sends a few villagers to find a Samurai to help. Weeks go by without success until one day they find a Samurai that is willing to listen to their story and to help. He finds what they are up against and say that they are going to need six other Samurai in order to have a shot of defeating the bandits. The band assembled to set back to the village to try and save their homes.
Once again, I have never seen this movie. I have heard of it many times but I have never seen it. It has never been on any of my lists to watch because I am not a huge foreign film fan. I have an aversion to subtitles because I can't keep up with them. I also feel that I miss more trying to read faster, or I end up just watching the bottom of the screen when they are on and missing all of the action above the words. So, I tried to go into this with an opened mine.
About 30 minutes into the movie one of the characters did something that reminded me of one of the dynamics in the movie The Magnificent 7........
Yeah, then it hit me, The Magnificent 7 is based off of Seven Samurai. Granted this connection was never made before because I have only seen the 2016 version of The Magnificent 7 not the original. Now where that I was looking up information about the 2016 film did it make any connection with Seven Samurai only to the original movie. Once I realized what it was I was more invested in the film. I loved trying to figure out who the characters I knew were portrayed by in the original work. Spoilers: lots of the seven die in both movies. I own the 2016 version of the movie and after a few viewings I noticed that you can tell who lives based on the color or the horses that they are riding. In Seven Samurai I wasn't able to find that similarity but it was more engaging in the film to see if I could find that detail on the first viewing.
Overall, the movie is very long, but it was a lot of fun! I very much did enjoy watching this film and there is always more to see, so I might re-watch it again sometime.
I said earlier that Alaina also had a plot twist for me for the month. She actually sent me a text about what I was supposed to do. Here is what happened there.
Yes, I was a little freaked out. Yes, I was scared because I don't want to dye my hair. As you see I did a spray on, which was fine but still. I know as some point I will have to start dying my hair but once you do it..... you can't undo it. Also, I did temporarily dye my hair once, years ago, for Halloween. It was jet black and did watch out over time. Also, this is the first time that I panicked over a Plot Twist so far. I mean, at the start of the year I thought everyone was just going to do crazy things to be. I love that everyone has been making do things that are out of my comfort zone in a different way, but Alaina is the first to make me question the power I have given over her. I see now it's for good reason.
So, thus, we end May and we start the move to June. We June we will be halfway through the year. I guess who will see how I am dong after the halfway point.
I am not sure if at this point that I have mentioned it but I have been getting my plot twists from the people that I have asked to help me, but God keeps laughing and sending me more plot twists. April was really supposed to be a very chill month. It was supposed to be nothing too crazy or overly done. However, that is not what happened. Work has been super busy and I had so many last minute things happen to me that I can't believe that we are already at the end of the month. So, guess who is playing catch up again!
Let's go ahead and talk about the movie of the month, Now You See Me.
Four different magicians, who all specialize in different section of magic, are brought together by a mysterious society in order to be recruited. They must work as a team to follow a set of instructions to pull of a master plan of revenge. However, they don't know who they are working for or why they want the revenge in the first place.
I have seen this movie so many times because it's one of the few that I own on digital. So, I am able to watch it anywhere I want to really. Since I have it on digital, I do watch it all the time. I like it because it's entertaining, I already know what is going to happen, and it's good background noise when I am doing something. However, I have watched it so many times I am in the point of where I have found lots of plot holes and want to know that answers to said plot holes. It's still a fun movie. I really do like the second on as well and there have been rumors that there is going to the a third. I really hope that there is cause I would be just as great.
Let's get to my "planned" plot twists from my own mom, Margie! I will say that that she didn't do what I thought she was going to do. I really thought that at this point I would have had a lot more embarrassing stories to share this year but I really don't have that many. Mom didn't do anything to embarrass me either. Here is what she did do.
Plot twist one was very early in the start of the month. She didn't waste any time and just went right in!
Plot twist too was super sweet, and one that keep on giving. I am still waiting for my second letter, but I will probably write a review on that once the whole thing is done.
Plot twist three was actually one that mom said that was on her as well. We have been looking for a vanity from the 30s for me for a long time. However, nothing stuck. We could have get to it fast enough or they were asking way to much money. This one was a plot twist on myself too. After I got that vanity mom said that the person selling this was also selling a full size bed frame and a dresser and a really good price. I got in contact with them and they sold it to me and now I have the whole matching set!
I love my mom and I am very glad of the fun stuff I get to do because of her plot twists. I am excited to see what is happening next month. I already know I am busy.... I am a bit worried if I am going to ever get rest ever again.
When I first came up with how to do this concept I didn't think it was going to go so well. I thought people would forget or I would be doing some repeated plot twists. I know that we have only been doing this for three months but I am very impressed with my friends! They have had some fun and interesting ideas so far and I can't wait for the rest of the year to happen. This month Angela got to have her way with my life for a few days. However, we should talk about this movie watched first.
Let me break the first and second rules of Fight Club here and tell you about it. This movie is about a man who is stuck in a dead end job, without sleep, without loved ones, without emotions. However, he starts to find some emotions when he starts going to support groups.... even though he suffers from any illnesses or ailments that the groups are about. He seems to be feeling better cause he is able to sleep. That is until this girl walks into his life. She is doing the same thing where she is going to all of the groups. However, his life spins more out of his control when he meets Tyler Durden. Tyler is this whole philosophy that the only way to feel anything is to feel pain. That is how fight clubs begins. It's starts to become an underground secret society. However, it doesn't take long until they of the clubs join together to create mayhem with Tyler leading everyone. The question then becomes who really is Tyler Durden?
So, here is something that I not thought would happen. the movie with the plot twist plot twisted me. What do I mean by that? Well, I thought that this was going to be an action movie that had something crazy happen at the end. However, what I ended up getting was the ridiculously slow paced movie. It dragged on and on and on and on and on and.... you get the point. I mean I have never seen the movie until this point and it's a modern classic film that everyone has quoted at least once in their life. However, it's by far on the most uninteresting movies that I have ever seen. I wish I had picked something else but I did not.
However, I guess that is what a good plot twist is right? Well, thankfully my good friend Angela had some good twists of her own. See I would think that most people would take the opportunity, like I would, to embarrass me to to do something totally wild. However, Ang took a little bit of different route. She decided to make me do "un-Daisy like" things. Which she accomplished in a way I would not have originally thought!
Her first plot twist came during the first week of the month.
I am not 100% sure why I thought that after she made me do that I would be free from exercising but I was very wrong. Angela sent me this next plot twist when I was having a very busy week. I was planning on being out of town for a few days so I had to make it work.
The last one also came doing a busy week because I wound up going out of town twice in the same month... and she got me on both weeks. So, I had to make this one work too. However, this one comes with a little bit more of a story.
Ok, so the Macbeth project that I was talking about in the video is actually a High School Project that Angela and I had to do our Senior year for an English Class. It's such a funny memory to look back on and it's also a very awkward one too. However, you also get to enjoy the project too down below1
So, thank you Ang for giving me stuff that I was not expecting to be given. Also, that for pushing me to find this video again so that I can watch it and embarrass both of us. I will say that even though this was not what I was expecting, it still was a lot of fun!
I am not late for once! My last plot twist for this month had actually come up a few hours before this post! So, that is why I am just now doing this!
However, let's get to the movie first!
How can you ever go wrong with an Alfred Hitchcock film? This movie starts our with theft, then goes to murder, then goes to a schizophrenic state. Marion Crane is in a bit of a situation. She wants more out of her life but it's not going how she wanted it. She is working for a mortgager when a client comes in with $40,000 cash. Her boss doesn't want it in the building cause there is no safe place to keep it. He asks her to take the money to the bank and put it in their safe deposit box. She takes the money and runs instead. Without a plan, she packs a bag and drives all night to get out of town. She sells her car when she thinks she is going to be caught, and then drives until she has to take a break. She pulls over the the Bate's Motel. After checking in she starts to let her guard down. Everything is going well until she is murdered in the shower. After a few days of no one hearing from her, a private investigator is put on the case to search for her. However, it's not long after he shows up to the Bate's that he is murdered too. Can this mysterious murdering mother of the Bate's hotel be stopped?
So, I have to say that this is the second time viewing this movie. The first time I saw it I was in the theater with my mom and it did scare me. I thought it was going to be a not so scary movie cause it was older but Hitchcock scares you on a philological level not a jump scare kind. The best part of that first viewing is that was some how spared getting the ending spoiled for me all of those years.
So, let's see what my friends had in mind for me this month.
So February was one of the months that had to be split with two people. No one signed up for the solo person for the month so the task was one bonus day each of Jeannie and Nikki! Thankfully, both of their plot twists did not happen on the same day. Since I am not privy to the days they are planning I am at the mercy of the fact they could have ended up on the same days. However, that was not the case.
Jeannie got hers in first!

I miss movies so much and I can't wait till we get to go back!
Since we are only just getting started we have many more months to go! We have so many things happening that it's gong to be fun to see what my friends come up with next!
Well, looks like I am starting the year off as usual.... late.
Before we get to the craziness that happened this month lets talk about the movie that I watched in coordination with this month. The Illusionist.
This movie is about a young man who finds he joy in life by performing magic. However, in the process he finds that love of his life. She is a duchess, and is not of such a high rank. They meet as children and then are separated. When he finds success in his career his love comes back to him. However, she can't be his love for long for she is engaged. the man she is to wed is a bitter and angry man that wants to rule with an iron fist. In a plot to get her away from him things go sideways. This leads to death, arrests, murder, and a whole slue of other things. Does is all seem as it appears though?
I have to say that I am not an Edward Norton fan. The only thing that I have liked him in was Birdman but that's it. So, finding out he is the star of this movie I wasn't expecting to enjoy it much. However, there is always a saving grace. The co-star of this film is Paul Giamatti. I always remember him most from Big Fat Liar. but everything I have ever seen him in has been wonderful. He made the movie. He made joyous to watch, and interesting to watch, and rally make it feel like it was on the edge of the seat. When Mr. Norton's acting fails to get you involved the movie Mr. Giamatti makes Mr. Norton more intriguing. The plot twist at the end is not the biggest and most impressive twist in movie history but it's really a enjoyable movie to watch.
Now for my Plot Twists
Nikki Day was my first.. twister I guess you can call it. She is the one that wanted to do this and she wanted to go first. She got what she wanted! There are two people that I am really scared of having control of my life for a little bit. She was one of them, but it ended up not being nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.
The first one on her list started off like this...
When I went to look online of where this was it made no sense. I knew the area, Nikki and I have gone to this little shopping center before, but The added was to an empty store.... I thought she was going to have me murdered!
Here is what happened.
I didn't get any picture of us painting said pottery, but this was the end result a week later after everything was glazed and what not.
Plot twist two was revealed after this picture was taken!
Nikki wanted me to make a vision board. I have never really been big into these. Nothing wrong with them but not really my thing. Nikki gave me everything I needed to make one and I did.
Nikki has not seen it in person yet. However, she will soon.
The last one....... Nikki got a little bit of help from the other person that scares.. Jeannie! Jeannie is someone you should be scared of when you are giving them control. Nikki came over for a game night that we had planned at the end of the month. When had people come in from all over the state of Tennessee to come to game night. It was so much fun! We had kids running around and grown up dying a laughter. We had good food and played the best board game ever, Chameleon! However, Nikki used this opportunity to cash in her last twist. I had to do the Cupid Shuffle in front of everyone. Thankfully, not by myself, but I had to.

I am very excited that it is the new year, and I am sure that most every one else is too. I know that I am one of the rare people that is a little sad to see 2020 go, it was not a terrible year for me, but I am excited for this year because of all the wonderful things I have planned.
I will still be doing the on going projects that I don't really have a set way of getting through quickly. Those would be The List, Tom Hanks Hustle, No Place Like Movies at Home, and the Best Picture Challenge. However, most of those are when the next one is available. So, those will not be taking up all of my time. However, this year I am doing three new challenges. I am very excited to be doing them because one of them is something I have wanted to do for a very very long time.
The first one is going to be about Friends. In sticking with my whole Wizard of Theme, as I have done with most of my projects, this one is called "You're the Best Friends Anybody Ever Had". This theme is inspired by Toto. The Loyal Best Friend of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. I have been working for the last six months on how I am going to pull all of this off. I have researched, and I have driven myself mad trying to get this project to come together. So, here is how... kinda. A few months back I asked my 8 Best Friends for a list of the 12 traits they looks for in a best friend. I took all of the lists and combined them into a great big list of the 12 most requested traits. I have assigned each trait to a month and I will be sending them gift that represent these words to them through the whole year. The other thing I have done is picked a picture out with them and put it on a puzzle that has 12 pieces and I will be sending them a piece every month and they will have the full puzzle at the end of the year. They don't know that yet, that is unless they read my blog. I have already sent them a letter kind of explaining what they will expect. Also, when I update about the month I am doing I will pick one of them and wright about who they are and how much I love them! I also had each of them pick out their favorite movies about friendships. So, I am going to watch those movies and I picked out 4 myself that I love that I am going to write about too!
The second project is going to be Family. Looking In My Own Backyard. I picked this cause it comes from the quote in The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy find she can get home with the Ruby Slippers. She says "if I ever go looking for my heart's desire again, I won't look any further than my own backyard". I picked that quote cause the whole movies is about finding out what is really important and where you will find it. It telling everyone that family is more important that anything in the world. So, I am looking in my "backyard" as a family tree and finding out who came before me. The theme is courtesy of Auntie Em and Uncle Henry. I have wanted to research my family tree for a number of years and this year I am finally going to do it. I really wanted to be go on Ancestry and take a DNA test and just dive in. I am really excited because my Grandma as sent some of the stuff to my mom and Dad has a wealth of Knowledge on his side. So, I picked out 12 movies about families that I am going to watch and I am going to write about the interesting people I come across in my family tree.
The third project of the year is a plot twist theme and it will be called "Up Inside the Cyclone". Where is there a plot twist in The Wizard of Oz? Well, it's the cyclone. Now I know that not really a plot twist but it was for Dorothy and her family. It totally through her world into a tail spin for a little while then. So, the question then becomes how to plan for a plot twist for yourself? Here is how. The same 8 wonderful people that I am doing by Best Friend Project for I picked to help me with this. What I am doing is assigning them each a month were they get to pick 3 things to make me do. However, I don't get to know what they are going to make me do and I don't know what days of the month they are going to do it on. So, all I am going to going to be watching a movie that has a plot twist in it and wait for the torment to begin. However there are 4 months were no one is assigned. So, I ended up doing is telling all of them that they get a bonus day or one of the other month. So, four months two people get one day. I will be documenting this either by pictures or by video.
I have to say I am very interested in seeing how this year turns out and I am excited to see what's to come. I already know it's going to be a great year!
